Sam was admitted to the Nigerian Bar (BL) in 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Law degree(LL.B Hons.) from the University of Ife, Nigeria in 1980. He also has a Masters of Law degree (LL.M) from London School of Economics (LSE) University of London (1983).

He is the Managing Partner of the firm and a Notary Public of Nigeria.

He is a member of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA); International Trademarks Association (INTA), Institute of Trademark Agents (ITMA), International Lawyers Network (ILN), International Bar Association (IBA) and a Council Member of the Section on Business Law (SBL) of the NBA.
