Yomi was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2004. He graduated from the Lagos State University, Nigeria, (LL.B Hons) in 2003. Yomi also acquired a Diploma in Law from Lagos State University , Nigeria in 1997.

In 2002, Yomi was  the ‘Best Student in Conveyancing Law’ in the Law faculty of the Lagos State University. He has a forte for research and  served as a research assistant to Prof. I.O. Smith (A former Dean of the Law Faculty of the University of Lagos).

He is very passionate about litigation in relation to civil and criminal matters.
